Biography
We are a husband and wife team. We live in Augusta, Georgia. We sing anywhere GOD sends us. We have been singing Gospel Music for over twenty years. We have had the privilege of recording several albums. The Lord so graciously allowed us to write and record many of the songs we sing.
Some of our accomplishments are:
- One of the first songs we wrote, "My Soul Cries Out", went to #4 on the gospel charts here in the Augusta area several years ago. It remained on the Top 40 charts for four months.
- We received a nomination for a King Eagle Music Award in Nashville, TN. The nomination came from Nairobi, Kenya. Thanks to Job Gathemia, who played our song, "God Bless Our Marriage", on both the Christian and secular radio programs.
- We also received a Special Achievement Award from International Star Music Awards in Nashville, TN.
- We have submitted some of our music to RadioActiveAirplay.com in recent years where DJs can visit and download songs to their playlist. We currently have one on there entitled "Lord You're The Answer". It reached #4 on the weekly chart ending 9/15/09. It was #5 two days after we submitted it to RAA. We are #2 for Newest Artist; and #6 for Newest Song. Praise the Lord! We would appreciate it if you'd call your favorite DJ and ask him to check it out.
We praise God for His blessings and allowing us to play a very small role in the music industry. What a privilege it is to sing and minister the gospel of Jesus Christ through song and testimony. If you are going thru a rough time in your marriage, you would be encouraged to hear what God did for us! He is an AWESOME God.....and He is still in the miracle-working, restoration business!
Our main goal is to uplift the Name of Jesus! In doing so, we hope to encourage our fellow Christians, and win souls for the kingdom. We give God all the glory for great things He has done!
God has opened many doors for our ministry during these past twenty years. We have traveled to sing all over the Southeast. We have shared our ministry on WBPI-TV-49, and WJBF-Ch6, Parade of Quartets (both are here in our local area), and also on TV-16 in Greenville, South Carolina. We have a standing invitation to sing at a Christian TV Station in Louisiana. Hopefully, we'll be able to make the trip soon. We are open to..and look forward to what God has for us in the years to come!
We have three sons and a daughter, Michael, Marc, Ben, and Melissa. We are so grateful to Melissa for giving us a grandson, Brandon (19)...and Michael & Marc each giving us a granddaughter, Nevada (8), and Madeline (8).
